If only you had paid attention to my commands,
your peace would have been like a river,
your well-being like the waves of the sea.

If only you had paid attention to my commands,

I thank my God for peace in my storms and for my well-being when I'm sick, or rear off the path that he should have me on. I thank God for blocking any harm that might come to me. I thank God that he is God and that all I have to do is believe and trust in him. He will make a way for me when all else fails me he will provide for me all I have to do is pay attention to his commands; he is my God, Father, Lord and Savior.

Yes, Mary, I've been sick with bronchitis for 2 1/2 weeks now. I keep clinging to Him for healing. Forced myself to work out last Wed, thinking it would sweat it out of me. NOT! !! I've been in bed ever since, just taking it easy. I've gotten a little discouraged, but what you said here is exactly true. Thanks for the encouragement

We struggle so much to have our life go our way. God sees the foolishness of our feeble attempts and still calls us back to peace with Him. He contrasts our messy lives for one of peace and calm. We need only to do what He says and rest in Him.

Yes, this is so true! God's peace, contentment, and rest is the best medicine for any type of sickness you have! Physical, mental, or emotional, it is all linked into the Spiritual well being of our minds, and it is only Jesus, our Father, and the Holy Spirit that can give us our true rest! AMEN
