That would be so awesome to even be near as God passed by in our dimension. If His hand is big enough to cover Moses' view, He must have manifested in a form 20 to 30 feet tall!

I cannot imagine what it would be like to be that close to God to have Him cover me with His hand as He walked by. It must have been an amazing feeling to have His hand covering Moses as He walked by. What an experience that would have been even for Moses who was so intimate with God.

Moses wanted to see Gods glory, God was willing but he didn't want Moses to die so he told Moses he could stand on a rock and his glory will pass him by so God cover his eyes until he passed by and removed his hand and Moses saw is back. It shows me that God was pleases with Moses and wanted him to feel his presants. It was lovely that God would do this for Moses. We can sit down and talk to God today if we have the faith of Moses.

Yes Lillian, I am in the process of reading the book "God Chasers" by Tommy Tenney, which I read not long after it was released in '98 and am re-reading it now. He expresses in that book, of us being like a little child who is chasing his dad around the back yard but the dad of course is able to run faster and side step his child when he gets close and the child misses. But then, after a while of chasing, the father turns and runs to his child and snatches the child up in his arms. The idea is that if we chase hard after God, He will suddenly turn and catch us up in His glory. That little story portrayed such a wonderful truth to me, that if we will chase hard after God, He will eventually turn and catch us in His arms and show His glorious love for us. I believe that's where the church needs to be in this time, chasing hard after God, so He will show us His love and glory. I am expecting, even this year, to see amazing works of God being revealed to us and the world, "IF" we will do our part and chase hard after Him. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
