Esther 3:2
All the royal officials at the king's gate knelt down and paid honor to Haman, for the king had commanded this concerning him. But Mordecai would not kneel down or pay him honor.

Peter B.
Peter B. from Buchanan, MI said:
Key words: But Mordecai would not kneel down or pay him honor, Mordecai's loyalty was to God. Mordicai didn't obey the kings law in regards to idolatry, there is only one King that we should kneel to that is God Almighty. As Christians there will be a time that religious freedom will be stopped by government authorities of the land, (we can see that today) they will not like us to worship God. As the Church we need to take a stand like Mordecai and not to obey these rules for the sake of God, but to continue to obey God even if it means our life be taken away from us. Amen and Amen

And Amen again Peter. It's easy to see it coming today as we see all the attacks against the Jewish people, as well as believers. As you have stated, we must stand against this attack against our faith in Christ. It is sad that right here we have a current leader, who has openly said that evangelical Christians are the worst thing to ever happen to our nation. I wouldn't want to be in his place on judgment day. Once again Peter, my comment wouldn't post. If they don't soon correct the problem, I'll stop using the system. I even attempted choosing a different verse from my first choice but to no avail. I do like what they did in sending the virtual copy of the gospel of John out but am getting tired of failure to post. Blessings brother Peter. :-)
