2 Chronicles 3:14
He made the curtain of blue, purple and crimson yarn and fine linen, with cherubim worked into it.

The curtain /veil if i remember correctly was Hanging in the most Holy Place which was a barrier between man and God.(a barrier in which the High Priest can enter) The tearing of the veil at the moment of Christs death on the cross for our sins, made Christ Our High Priest and as believers in Jesus Christ, we can now enter The Holy of Holies through Him, opened for us through the curtain, that is His body. Hebrews 10:19-20 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, His body.

Amen Peter, and the tearing of the veil we know was done by God since it was torn from top to bottom, illustrating that it could not have been done by man. Mat_27:51  And, behold! The veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. And the earth quaked, and the rocks were sheared, And yes on the fall type weather today. I had to turn the furnace back on after having temps near 90 a couple of days ago. Blessings always upon you brother. :-)

It is obvious that Solomon spared nothing to see that the house of the Lord was a magnificent structure, beyond anything known to man. With the amount of gold and special woods used for its construction, I cannot imagine the cost in today's dollars but there was obviously no cost even considered by Solomon, in honoring the Lord.

Same verse Lloyd(I took a different approach we had a Lords day message on the veil and what it ment when it was torn) it was the most expensive to build the temple back then, and took Solomon a few years to build it.Today it would cost more but wouldn't take that many years to build. Well we had a little bit of fall weather today. Keep us in your Prayers brother. Blessings
