2 Chronicles 2:18
He assigned 70,000 of them to be carriers and 80,000 to be stonecutters in the hills, with 3,600 foremen over them to keep the people working.

I'm looking at this verse from a Christian stand point. It took many men with their time and their talents to build this Temple which consisted in a lot of materials. The Christian Temple is a dwelling not made with hands, the real presence of God is His Church. The materials today is the cornerstone Christ crucified the foundation laid by the apostles and prophets, the stones the men and women who are the church. Christ, the Head of the body and the chief cornerstone of the church. The spiritual Temple is a habitation of God.

Amen to that Peter. Christ as you have said, is head of the church, and the church is not a building (temple) as it was then, but is those who are committed to Christ as Lord and Savior. Blessings brother Peter, as we enter the Lord's day and be His lights to the world. :-)
