1 Chronicles 28:19
"All this," David said, "I have in writing as a result of the Lord 's hand on me, and he enabled me to understand all the details of the plan."
Lloyd S. from Trenton, ON said:
David had always planned on building the temple to house the ark of God, but God had a different person in mind to do that, since David had blood on his hands from being a warrior, who had secured the land of Israel for his people. Now, God had instructed David as to whom, being his son Solomon, would build the temple and how it would be built. David humbly turned the construction of the temple over to his son. It is so encouraging that David, in humility, obeyed the Lord's commands, as he gave Solomon all the instructions. In my mind, David was an example of Christ, a humble servant to the will of His Father, God.

God put the spirit upon David, so that he would understand what God wanted him to do. For him to be strong, willing to do all the work and plans that was show to him. That God would be with him.

1 Chronicles 28:19
"All this," David said, "I have in writing as a result of the Lord 's hand on me, and he enabled me to understand all the details of the plan."
Derek N. from San Jose, CA said:
David charged his son Solomon with the plans and instructions for how to build the house for Lord. He gave him precise detail instructions such as the weight of the gold and silver articles to be used and instructions on the division of the priests and the Levites and for all the works in serving in the temple of the Lord. He even provided manpower to help Solomon build the house of the Lord. All this was charged to David by the Lord and David passed on this instruction to Solomon. This is similar to Jesus who came by the will of the Father to give us plans and instructions for our lives for eternity. He has shown us the way and he set for us an example to follow. Now all we have to do is follow and acknowledge Jesus as Lord, serve him with wholehearted devotion and a willing mind.
